In Rosewood, Pennsylvania, reporters are lined up outside the historic courthouse, typing furiously at their iPhones with freshly manicured nails. Because the trial of the century is happening right here in Rosewood: the four pretty little liars have been accused of killing Alison DiLaurentis. Only Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily know that they’ve been framed. Ali is still out there, laughing as she watches the girls go down for her murder. But when your nickname includes the word “liar,” no one believes you’re telling the truth. . . .
Aria tries to run away from it all but finds that life on the lam is even harder than life as a liar. Spencer gets in touch with someone who can help her disappear—but when a guy from her past reemerges, Spencer no longer knows what she wants. Hanna decides that she’ll hear wedding bells chime before she serves time. And in the face of prison, Emily does something truly drastic—something that will change her friends’ lives forever.
As the trial goes on and the outcome looks grim, the girls are in their darkest hour yet. But maybe they can finally figure out how to beat Ali at her own game. Because once upon a time, she was just a pretty little liar too.
Is this really the last book?
It is, alas! But The Perfectionists is a good next read. And hopefully I’ll have something else new for you soon!
Is “The Good Girls” the end to The Perfectionists series?
for now, yes. But I would love to write more…
I’ve been dreading this moment, a finale to this amazing series. Definitely in my top 5. I wish it didn’t haven’t to end, but I look forward to your new stuff. 🙂
Do you think you will make any more PLL books? Maybe a Wren or Ezra spin off?
Hi Sara! I just finished reading the finale to the Pretty Little Liars and I had a question. The final chapter where we get a glimpse of what Ali is like in the psych ward, it ends almost as if there could be another book because she is always plotting and staying one step ahead of the girls. I thought it was a brilliant ending, because Ali is finally caught and gets a fitting punishment, but with the final line, is that to assume there is hope for Ali in the terms of getting out, or is it to assume that this is her fate, to stay in the psych ward plotting her revenge on the liars still for the rest of her life? I just loved this series and I cannot wait to start the Perfectionists!
I was thinking about that as well. Ali has her ways of figuring out how to escape, so as long as she is alive she could be coming after the girls again?
Wow! This seems so good. I’ve only just started reading them and they seem so good. Very excited to read them! -Taylor 🙂
OMG I can not believe this is the last book I just finished toxic and I thought that was the last book so excited but still sad. Suppose the series cant go on forever. You are an amazing author!!!!!
I totally loved reading all the pretty Little liars books, but I wanted there to Be a real final ending. Can’t have everything You wish for, but I find it a Little frustrating 😉
